OTUKPO/OHIMINI, I REJECT ANY PRIMARY ELECTIONS MANUFACTURED RESULTS

I, Hon. Andrew Agbo Abu, Aspirant for the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), hereby categorically reject the manufactured and fraudulent result being circulated from a primary election that never held in either Otukpo or Ohimini Local Government Areas.

What transpired was not democracy, but a carefully orchestrated conspiracy against the people, especially the young people and supporters of the O’TÓLÈ BI Movement who came out peacefully with hope and confidence in the democratic process.

Let it be placed on record that there are overwhelming video evidences across wards and polling centers confirming that no election materials ever arrived at the Ohimini or Otukpo local government secretariats for proper accreditation and distribution to ward headquarters. Instead, materials were allegedly diverted and escorted to Otukpo by appointees linked to the state government alongside APC chairmen from both local governments, as clearly captured in circulating video evidence.

Even more disturbing are allegations that the electoral materials were manipulated at Ochacho Hotel in Otukpo before fake results were announced in favor of the incumbent, Hon. Blessing Onuh, whose seven years at the National Assembly have yielded little or nothing meaningful for the suffering people of Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency.

The acclaimed “popular incumbent” has once again demonstrated fear of facing the people in a fair and transparent contest. If truly popular, why avoid a credible primary election? Why deny party members the right to vote? Why subject elderly men and women, nursing mothers, youths, and loyal party supporters to hours of waiting from morning till night, only to impose a predetermined outcome?

I strongly condemn the role allegedly played by the Benue APC State Chairman, Chief. Ben Omale, who ironically hails from Ohimini. History will remember those who betrayed their own people at a time when our communities are bleeding from insecurity, killings, poverty, and neglect. The cries of innocent constituents and the blood spilled across Otukpo and Ohimini will forever stand as a testimony against all those who participated in this injustice.

Ohimini people are not cowards, and the Ohimini mandate will never be ceded or surrendered through intimidation, manipulation, or backdoor arrangements.
I also call on security agencies to immediately investigate and proscecute Hon. Adah Nart, the APC Chairman in Otukpo Local Government, who was reportedly captured on video announcing fabricated results from elections that never took place.

Furthermore, I respectfully call on His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to uphold his promise of ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants within the APC and allow democracy to prevail. The integrity of our democracy and the credibility of our great party must not be sacrificed for selfish political interests.
I want to assure my supporters, members of the O’TÓLÈ BI Movement, and the good people of Otukpo/Ohimini that this struggle is not over. Remain peaceful, hopeful, and steadfast. Justice may be delayed, but with courage, truth, and the will of the people, justice shall prevail.

No intimidation, no manipulation, and no kangaroo arrangement can suppress the voice of a determined people.
The O’TÓLÈ BI wind remains unstoppable.

Signed:
Hon. Andrew Agbo Abu
APC Aspirant, Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency
